Dolly Berlin | Burlesque Performer | Toronto

Toronto is rich with burlesque talent, including longtime local showgirl Dolly Berlin.

“High Femme, Low Brow,” Dolly is a vixen of versatility whose range of acts don’t fit into any one box; sometimes nodding to the golden age of bump-n-grind, often portraying a glittery glam rock and roll siren as well as the occasional bizarre comedy-strip. She is proudly Indigiqueer,  and collaborates as a member of both Skin Tight Outta Sight and Les Femmes Fatales Women of Colour burlesque troupes.

Dolly has teased coast-to-coast across Canada and appeared at Festival events such as Girlesque, Toronto Burlesque Festival, Toronto Pride, Fierce International Queer Burlesque Festival, New York Burlesque Festival and the legendary Theatre Bizarre.

 In addition to her solo performances, Dolly curated the popular weekly burlesque and variety night “Sinful Sundays at Cherry Cola’s” from 2014 to 2021 and is currently bringing her brand of burlesque to the Gladstone House Melody Bar and The Cat on Q with “Peeler’s Playhouse” and “Sizzle”, respectively. Peeler’s Playhouse runs May 10th, June 7th, and July 12th, 2022. The next Sizzle event is June 12, 2022.
