Yay! I got really excited about the fact that there were so many toys donated at last night’s Tits For Tots. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported!
The show was really great, a lot of fun. Sesame Street last month was fun too but the screen backstage wasn’t working so we didn’t get to watch. I was glad it was on this time otherwise I would have missed Marianne Cheesecake. Damn, that girl is spot on. There’s nothing I love more than a girl who does 1920’s proper.
Our other out of town guests Daisy Deville (Ab) & Conrad Fusion (Sk) were great too… I mean everybody was great, but it’s always a treat when Mysterion hooks us up with a few little tastes of morsels from beyond T.O. I danced to a mix of Charo’s version of Feliz Navidad (as seen on the Peewee’s Playhouse xmas special) and Billy May’s Rudolph. I was tickled pinker than my cheeks at the various compliments I received, although I’m still not very good at accepting them gracefully.
We also had some amusing post-performance mixmatch steez going on…me in my Cowgirl Christmas outfit (my sweater has a cowboy Santa), Mysterion in his Jewish Pimp Mr. Rogers getup, and Fionna Flauntit lookinf like a dream in Green Glamour (which made me laugh because the second she got home she tore it off and was like “Jeezis, I hate dresses, so uncomfortable! I’m a rock n roll girl, y’know?”).And then there was Mitzy Cream, who found a new friend under the mistletoe…..
Mhm…
And there it was, another show come and gone! I will be performing again next week with Red Herring and Obskyura at Cleo Femi’s Birthday Bash, and am very excited. But until then, I want to wish everyone who I’ve worked with in the past year, and everyone who has come out to support the burlesque community this year a very Merry Christmas.
